Gifts from Siblings

She’s the one you spent all your growing years with. You’ve shared toys, rooms, beds, clothes, secrets, quarrels…. the list is endless. Now, on the most important day of her life, all you want to do is share her happiness. Nothing seems more important than to make this occasion picture perfect, so the gift too will have to measure up to it.

How about a holiday package to some place really romantic - snow flaked peaks, lashing wild shores or tranquil rippling waters. Make it as perfect as can be, from travel to hotel reservation, assured pick-up, local tour guide (provided they wish to venture out), to the selection of wine, fruit and chocolate in the room. Make the experience wholesome, something they will both cherish for a lifetime.

A basket of personalized goodies would also make a lovely gift, with the name of the bride and groom embossed or printed on each article. A silver rimmed photo frame with both names embossed in silver would be ideal for their favorite wedding snapshot. Towels and bathrobes bearing their names would be as delightful as bed linen on the same lines. You could also throw in personalized coasters, napkin holders and table mats.

If you want to gift her something really extraordinary, the only thing that will fit the bill would be a piece of jewelry. If you want it to be simple and elegant, just like her, then round diamond solitaires would be ideal. If she likes to dress up, then go for diamond hoops or danglers in white gold. You could even choose the hoops or danglers in colored gemstones like sapphire to match the color of her eyes, (something you always envied her for), citrine to complement her golden mane, ruby to accentuate her full rosy lips. If she’s fond of pendants so be it, in these colored gemstones. Despite all the fine wedding gifts she receives the one she’ll cherish the most would be what you give her, so why not make it something really special.
